Patrick Knighton

Raised in a military family, Dr. Patrick D. Knighton Jr. grew up in various locations in the east coast of the United States but spent his formative years in northern Connecticut. Dr. Knighton received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry at Andrews University in Southwestern Michigan in 2015.

After spending a year pursuing a masters in Biological Science through Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Knighton decided that optometry aligned more with his career goals. Dr. Knighton completed his Doctorate of Optometry through Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in June of 2021.

Dr. Knighton has a passion for healthcare literacy and decreasing healthcare disparities in under served populations. Multilingual speaking English and Spanish, Dr. Knighton has been educated to conduct eye examinations in both English & Spanish. 

Cynthia E. Knighton C.C.C. SLP

As the founder of Speech for Success, LLC, Cindy brings a wealth of experience to her role as a speech-language pathologist. With seven years of experience in the field, Cindy has earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.

Throughout her career, Cindy has worked with a diverse range of patients, including children and adults with a variety of speech and language disorders. Her experience spans across pediatric centers, public schools, teletherapy, and rehabilitation centers. Cindy is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a license in the state of Washington. She has also received basic training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for Apraxia of Speech and DIRFloortime.

In addition to her extensive experience, Cindy has received specialized training in Sensory-Motor approaches to feeding therapy and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Her commitment to ongoing education and professional development ensures that she remains at the forefront of her field, providing the highest level of care to her patients.

Cindy’s passion for helping others and her dedication to her profession make her an invaluable asset to the Speech for Success team. Her expertise and experience enable her to provide personalized, effective treatment to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Megan Christmeyer

As the Office Clerk, Megan is readily available to assist you with any inquiries you may have regarding our services, insurance, or any other related matters.  

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Additionally, she obtained her certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in 2015.  

Megan firmly believes in a holistic approach to occupational therapy, recognizing its benefits throughout an individual’s lifespan. Her expertise and knowledge in this field make her an invaluable asset to our team, and we are confident that she will provide you with the assistance you need.
